We are presently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to expand and circulate our client-oriented focus to the rest of Nassau County and Western Suffolk County. The successful candidate will pride themselves on customer relations and the ability to generate new business through dependable service and in-depth product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target and maintain new clients through job site, office, and phone call solicitation.
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals by following up on sales leads.
- Create and grow a positive reputation of Centre Millwork & Supply.
- Satisfy customer demands via proper order taking and communication of delivery commitments.
- Stay up-to-date with current market and product trends and properly communicate these to clients to increase market share.
- Ability to participate effectively as a team member within the organization.
- Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Maintain knowledge of current construction practices
- Learn and accelerate knowledge in the use of point-of-sale operating system.
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals by following up on sales leads.

Experience
- Develop and maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude that exemplifies the spirit of our family owned lumberyard.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-4 years of related work experience.
- Intermediate computer operating knowledge.
